Layering is key to staying warm. A big coat is nice but you don't always want a big winter coat. It is important to keep a nice heavy coat in your wardrobe, but layering is fun and helps!
The first fashion essential is a winter hat to cover your ears, and most of your head. Your head holds the most heat so hold in your heat with a cute hat. What is your favorite style of winter hat?
The next fashion essential i love to layer in is thermal pants and shirts. They are great for adding under your sweaters, and long sleeve shirts with your jeans, or sweat pants. Leggings can be used as thermal pants but thermal is made with material to keep you warm.
A fashion essential I cannot go without in the winter is gloves, or mittens. Not only do you want to be able to play in the snow, and pick it up with out freezing your hands off to build snow families; your hands will not get chapped from the cold witner winds. People with arthritis are more sensitive to the cold, so wearing gloves can help keep your hands warm, and deal with less pain.
A fashion essential I have finally tried this year are leg warmers! Wear them over or under pants, for extra warmth. Also, the leg warmers around your legs can increase blood flow through the body; so that will help keep you warm too.
Do not go this winter with out the last winter fashion essential. Fuzzy, thick socks! I love how much better my feet fit into my boots or any shoe i need to wear in the winter with thicker socks!
I hope you find a way to stay warm. If you where the weather is usually warm, when is the last time it was cold?
